The Children’s Endowment Fund (“CEF”) was originally founded in 2002 by the Justinian Society of Lawyers as a charitable and benevolent arm of the Justinian Society of Lawyers, and as of August 14, 2012, the CEF, is now a subdivision of the Justinian Society of Lawyers’ Endowment Fund. The mission of the CEF is to assist and aid disadvantaged or disabled children, without regard to ethnicity, race or religion, throughout the Chicago land community. A child, as defined for the purpose of the CEF, is any individual 18 years old or younger. Since its inception, the CEF has granted over $135,000.00 to individuals and organizations affiliated with bettering the lives of children.

Almost Home Kids is a short-term pediatric healthcare organization that is community-based in 3 locations throughout Illinois. Our mission is to provide a bridge from hospital to home through an innovative community-based system of care for children with medical complexities. We respond to the needs of families, train caregivers, offer respite care, advocate for accessibility and inclusion, and educate healthcare professionals.
La Casa Norte serves unaccompanied youth and families experiencing or at risk of homelessness in disinvested Chicago neighborhoods. We provide shelter, stable housing, and wraparound services that transform lives and communities.
